Rhone Style Wine, Washington Grapes

Award Winning Wine

Less than 20 miles from Agate Beach House, between Shelton and Olympia, Walter Dacon Wines produces Rhone style wine with grapes grown in Washington State.

Around 1,000 cases of Syrah and small lots of Sangiovese and Port are produced by employing European winemaking techniques, not common in this region.

As a testament to the success of their efforts, they have accumulated numerous awards for their distinctively Rhone style wines.

Sip Syrah, Red Blends, Viognier, and Port in a small tasting room staffed by friendly winery employees.

Wine is available for purchase, of course, and on occasion there are special tastings (check website for upcoming events – http://www.walterdaconwines.com).
